Date: Sun, 14 Jun 1998 20:17:08 -0400 Subject: Enigmania! From: jonahc@juno.com (Jonah Cohen) Save Address Block Sender Kaitlin Marsh aka Overload Costume/appearance: 5'7" blond hair, blue eyes. Incredibly gorgeous with a killer body. Costume is white + silver - covers whole body + face, but is skin tight (leaving all too much to be imagined.) As Kaitlin, wears expensive + fashionable suits + such, skirts often cut to Melrose Place levels. Secret Origin: unrevealed Powers: Not quite up with the board's big boys (Ninja, Gladiatrix) but an excellent hand to hand fighter. Costume is smart-metal armor. Carries a taser. Main power is ability to overload people, powers + objects. Floors (or ceilings or support colums...) can be made to collapse, pipes burst, electric devices short circuit or explode etc. Peoples' bodies can be overloaded as well - those with, say, high blood pressure or cholesterol levels might suffer cardiac arrest, someone might hyperventilate etc. Superpowers can also me made to malfunction - those w. energy powers may absorb too much (sorry, Marc), someone with superstrength might lose muscle control, etc etc. This has lots of potential applications, so be creative. Personality/notes: OK, remember the kids in the "popular" crowd in high school? They were good looking, rich and , uh, "popular." Everyone said they were shallow, but secretly wanted to be like them, and hoped that after HS they'd become poor and ugly. Didn't happen to Kaitlin. She just got richer, better looking, more powerful, and somewhere got superpowers. Likes being a villain cause she likes crushing lesser people in an arena other than her highly successful business. Believes you're a loser and she ain't, nuff said. Save her a seat at the next BFH meeting. Something of a patrician snob, but gets on well enough with Nemesis as her new "clique." [Pantheon is the popular class president (with geeky kid brother in tow,) Nightmare the brainy one, Ninja the dumb jock, Deathshrike the son of the old money rich family etc; a loose breakdown.] Was Steve Mensch's lab partner in 11th grade chemistry, but barely remembers him. Neither knows the other's secret ID. Unknown if their origins are connected.
